Hideaki
I take you to Omoide Yokocho of Shinjuku and help you enjoy dinner in the good old Japanese style there. Then I escort you to take a closer look at Kabuki-cho night. I will answer your questions on strange signs, messages, people and shops around there. It's a unique place even for Japanese and I am curious about your reaction on what you see. Finally, I will show you around Golden gai for various kinds of tiny bars.
Hideaki and his partner Yuki created an unforgettable uiniqur experience for our party of four. We had a great evening of conversation and way too much to drink and eat. Upon my request he took is to some very unique B gourmet restaurants and a tiny punk rock bar in Golden Gai, whixh turned out to be the highlight of the evening. I can highly recommend booking Hideaki !!!!!
Hideaki did an amazing job and was very professional! We had a great time hanging out and his English was very good. He taught me a lot about Japanese culture and answered any questions I had. Even a few days after the event he still answered some more questions I had! This made my experience in Japan a lot better. A+ Would highly recommend!
Hideaki is an amazing guide with perfect english. He took use around Kabukicho and explained the various "shops" and "services" offered by the red light district. We then ended the tour with a yakitori pub (and kudos to him on finding the restaurant with seats - it wasn't easy!). An amazing night with an amazing guide - would recommend him to everyone.
Thank you for great everning, was very nice to met with you! Hightly reccomend Hideaki: smart, intelegent, funny and polite person, good for any sorts of programm in Tokyo
I really enjoyed the Kabukicho-Tour with Hideaki, he is very nice and has a lot of interesting things to tell you about places in kabukicho and other surrounding places. We also went to The Golden Gai and to a bar in Omoide Yokocho. It was like hanging out with a friend and i can really recommend tours with Hideaki, it will be a special experience of your trip in tokyo. If i come to tokyo again i will book another tour with him for sure.
Hideaki totally deserves the most reviews in Meetrip. He is not just fun and gentle but also don't mind sharing with you many of his nightlife experience. We had a short dinner, then he toured me around Kabukicho area and we ended up at Golden Gai. It is definitely a hidden gem! There are more than hundred of mini bars with unique design. He had a very nice chat and if you want to meet someone represent Tokyo in 3 hours, please go for Hideaki!
Thank you, Hideaki! We had a brilliant time. Hideaki was friendly, accommodating and easy to get along with. He toured four of us through Kabuchiko and then showed us around Golden Gai - where we had some crazy and hilarious experiences. Hideaki is an excellent guide and we would highly recommend you book him both for his great local knowledge and his friendly approach. Thanks again, Hideaki!
My wife and I had a very funny tour with Hideaki in Kabukicho. After a tempura dinner, he guided us through this amazing area and explained us the different types of shops and services that you can find there. We could also discuss with him various topics, including tourists spots in Europe and even business. At the end, he took us to a small bar in the Golden Gai area because I wanted to taste some genuine Nihon shu : it was a very pleasant experience. In conclusion : don't hesitate to contact Hideaki ! My tour of Kabukicho with Hideaki was simply awesome. At first, I was lost and wasn't sure what I'll be doing. The service I was able find on meetrip.to and with Hideaki, however; really made my first time stay in Japan a memorable one. Hideaki is very responsive answering all the questions and requests I asked him from beginning to the end. And, he's just easy and kind guide to talk to about pretty much anything. He even went out of his way to make sure that I'd find a decent lodging service after agreed time of guiding service was over. Thanks a lot. More than just a paid tour service, I, now, have a friend in Japan.
I had a lot of fun with Hideaki. Hideaki is great to hang around with. He had great knowledge of Kabukicho. He also can speak very good in english. For a person who learn english by himself, to me, he is unbelievable. He will have no problem to communicate with visitor(s) from out side of Japan. I'm from Canada and I can fully understand what he is telling me. Hideaki, next time I am in Tokyo, I will call you again for sure and I am highly recommended Hideaki to others who has time to visit Kabukicho. See you next time my friend. Richard.
This was my first time touring with meetrip and Hideaki in particular, and he was just perfect. His English is better than most professional tour guides in Tokyo and he was more than willing to accommodate all my requests. Awesome night, thank you Hideaki!
Hideaki was an excellent host. He is a great communicator, I really enjoy meeting people and Hideaki felt like an old friend. I learned a lot about Japanese culture. He also honored my special request to see a particular bar in Golden Gai that featured cats and took me to Pussy Foot - it was a lot of fun. Looking forward to seeing him again next time I visit.
I had a great time with Hideaki. He was punctual and easy to talk to. Kabukicho is different from what I imagine and having Hideaki explain helps. In addition to Kabukicho, we walk around Isetan food department and he highlighted some of the delicacies that are worth getting. We ended the trip with some yakitori at Omoide Yokocho, which to me is saving the best for last. The food and the atmosphere there is great. All in all it was a great night out with a cool guy. I highly recommend it.
I had a very pleasent evening with Hideaki taking a tour of Kabukicho and finishing the evening with dinner at one of the small joints at Omoide Yokocho. We connected immediately and found a lot of commen interests. His English is very good and he is very easy to talk to. I strongly recommend meeting up with Hideaki if you are in Tokyo.
We had a great time. Hideaki was punctual and spoke English very well. It was easy to converse with him, we enjoyed sharing stories and getting to know each other. We got to see some places we otherwise wouldn't have known about. Hideaki was quite knowledgeable and we enjoyed his company. The little restaurant he found for us in the Golden Gai gave us an authentic Japanese dining experience.
Visiting Kabukicho with Hideaki was really amazing. The night did not start ideally since I got lost at Shinjuku station and did not find our meeting point. Hideaki was really great: he stayed, looked for me everywhere and found me luckily as I was almost sure the meeting was done :) Well the contact with Hideaki was really easy and smooth since he is really open minded and friendly. We had good chatting, as he showed me Kabukicho and its main spots (sexy bars, massage places, ramen restaurants...). We finally had yakitoris and beer in a small japanese bar. Thanks Hideaki. Keep in touch.
My husband and I enjoyed spending time with Hideaki. He responded to all our emails promptly and was right on time at the designated meeting place. Before heading to Kabuki-cho, he showed us this back alley jammed with old-style wooden bars filled with businessmen eating, drinking and smoking. It was like something out of a movie (the first part of Gremlins came to mind). My husband and I would have never found that place on our own--we never even knew it existed--but we are glad Hideaki took us there. (We even went back the next day with our nicer camera to take more photos.) We then proceeded to Kabuki-cho. Hideaki pointed out some of the different entertainment establishments as we strolled around. Hideaki was very easy to talk to--relaxed, personable--and his English is amazing. It was like hanging out with a friend. (Part of that may be due to the fact that we are all around the same age.) I would recommend Hideaki to anyone looking for a "local" in Tokyo.
I had a great night with the company of Hideaki around Kabukicho. He pointed out interesting information about the area/shops which I wouldn't have known by just walking around myself. We ended the night at one of the izakayas in the area, and indulged ourselves with Japanese beer and yakitoris.
