Harajuku Takeshita-dori (Takeshita Street) Tour Guide in Tokyo

I believeTakeshita-dori is the busiest street in the world.
You can't walk smoothly cuz of overcrowding.

The fashion style of young people in this area is very unique and cute but some of them make up in the strange way, so called "Gothic and Lolita" (type of teenage fashion).
Have you ever heard of it? It's way too weird but worth seeing once. I think you would experience culture shock there.

Personally, I recommend you to walk from Harajuku to Omotesando and then walk to Shibuya.
On the way, you can see Omotesando Hills(luxurious shopping mall), Aoyama University(famous university in Tokyo), United Nation University.

Remember, walking is better than train in this area!

If you like eating sweets, I highly recommend you to buy a Tokyo style crepe on Harajuku tour. You can find some crepe shops in Harajuku Takeshita Street. Japanese girls also love it. It is usual that girls like a kind of sweets, right?? :) And If you lucky, you may meet girls wearing colorful and pop clothes and having pinky or blue hair style in this street! LOL Also if you need my help, guide you around this pop street ;)

Japanese young girls love to visit Harajuku Takeshita-dori.

There are...
Many clothes shops
Tasty crepe shops
Purikura(photo booth which you can draw something on it and add some stamps)

Harajuku has always created something new, especially, about clothes. You'll definitely find interesting things there! xx

Harajuku Takeshita-dori is the most polular spot for young people, especially teenage girls.
It is the center of "Kawaii" cluture.

There are lots of fashionable shops with reasonable price.
And, there are many shops decorated with photos of pop idols.
You can also enjoy tasting fast food like crape.

You can enjoy Japanese pop culture a lot at Takeshita-dori!

Harajuku Takeshita-dori is the place where you can feel Japanese “kawaii”(cute) culture. This is the town for teenager girls. Just in front of JR Harajuku station, there is the Takeshita Street. It takes about 15 minutes just to walk through the street. I think the main attraction here is people with kawaii clothes and school uniforms. Also, around the middle of Takeshita Street, there is a side street to go to the official “Evangelion” shop that your guide book might not mention. Evangelion is one of the most popular anime in Japan. There is no notice board of the shop and it’s easy to miss it. Just ask people to get there!
