Quiapo Church, also known as the Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene or Saint John the Baptist Parish, is a widely famous Roman Catholic Church in Manila. The Quiapo Church is known throughout Manila for their Black Nazarene, a dark wooden sculpture of Christ carrying a cross that is said to have healing properties. If possible, a tourist should avoid Friday, because there are many people attending the several masses scheduled during the day. It is "Black Nazarene" day. It is one of the busiest churches in Metro Manila. You could see the real life in Manila here, with many people from all walks of life. Many business activities are seen here. But going to Quiapo Church is meaningful because if you say your fervent prayer to Black Nazarene, He will ly answer them.

One of the the most occupied and busy church in town where the black nazarene are the patron saint of the church.at the sides of the church lies the varios vendors of flowers , herbal , amulets , fruits , food , handicrafts etc. also the underground passerby and the bridge that leads to metropolitan theater , manila city hall , SM and to intramuros and pasay area...
