"Frienly Vietnamese, at Saigon Square - Rex hotel" - Saigon Center, Saigon culture, arc...
Thien (Ho Chi Minh City)
To Vietnamese, Saigon Square is known as a shopping center (not like Time square in New York). Up to now, there have been two Saigon squares in district 1, HCMC. Saigon Square on Nam Ki Khoi Nghia street and Saigon Square 2 on Ton Duc Thang street. It's a place to shop for clothing and accessories. There are many shops which sell trendy clothes with cheap price. Unlike Ben Thanh market or Cho Lon in China town, Saigon square is a modern shopping mall. It's less crowded and complicated. Sunglasses, shoes, hi-tech electronics, luggage and other products are also available in Saigon square. There is a fun fact that you can find many cheap copies of many designs with famous brands. Although the quality is fake (you can recognize it very easy), the price is right. I suggest you should try bargaining (but you need to be tough with sellers!) :-D You can eat when you shop. There are many restaurants, coffee and a lot of Vietnamese sell street foods neaby. Just swing by and see how real fake Vietnamese products can be! ;)
