Hello, Yoon-Young. My name is Trang. I am a Hanoian. I have enjoyed the Hanoi's cuisines since I was born here.
They are really tasty in their own way. As you know, they can appear anywhere from the popular sidewalks to the luxurious restaurants and hotels.
The Old Quarter is a famous place in Hanoi with many pretty delicious cuisines. Anyway, to be honest, there is nothing to touch them:) You can taste some foods made of the noodles such as "Cha Ca" at the "Cha Ca La Vong" restaurant which is a Hanoi’s original cha ca eatery, "Bun cha"-the charcoal-grilled pork patties with vermicelli noodles and herbs, try Bun Cha Dac Kim; head to Hang Be street, to try "Bun dau", bite-sized bits of fried tofu served with packed rice noodles, herbs and your choice of sauce....Futhermore, some famous restaurants in Hanoi serve not only almost Hanoi cuisines but also many cuisines from other regions like "Bot loc Cake"- "Steamed clear tapioca Cake" , "Banh Beo" - "Rhymes with meow Cake", "Banh It"-"Little Cake", "Beef Noodle",...from Hue City, "Banh da cua" of Hai Phong, "Nem chua" fr Thanh Hoa...
I take great pleasure walking around the Old Quarter and tasting the Hanoi's food with you!
Welcome to Hanoi!
